An industrial videoscope is an inspection tool that is used to inspect hard-to-reach areas such as pipes, cavities, and holes. It consists of a flexible optical tube with a video camera at the end. The camera captures light reflected from a subject through an objective lens and directs it to the surface on the image sensor. The images are then transmitted to an LCD monitor for viewing.
